Arcom - Communication Architectures Research Group @ GT
- Arcom is the Communication Architectures Research Group at Georgia Tech.
- Our research activities focus on the design of new architectures for modern communication systems, to make them more efficient and more secure.
- Arcom is also part of the GT-CNRS UMI 2958, a joint GIT/CNRS research laboratory.
Our research group investigates theoretical and experimental aspects of communication architectures.
Our activities focus not only on the analysis of the fundamental limits of communication systems but also on the practical coding schemes and algorithms, as well as their implementation with software defined radios.
Many undergraduate and graduate courses related to our research activities are offered at Georgia Tech. In past years, we have offered communications and signal processing courses, such as:
- information theory
- coding theory
- mobile communications
